12 GREEN COFFEE VARIETIES WITH ORGANIC AND FAIR TRADE CERTIFICATIONS

1.- GEISHA COFFEE

A coffee with high score in cup that is only grown in small lots in the highlands of the Central Jungle.

2.- YELLOW BOURBON COFFEE

Recognized for its intense aroma, soft body, and fine acidity.

3.- MUCILAGE COFFEE

Sun dried coffee with all the sweet fruit mucilage which results in a sweet coffee with a unique characteristic in cup.

4.- FEMALE COFFEE

Characterized by the most delicate cherry selection, clean and orderly processing, by those same hands that best care for a family’s health and finances. This coffee supports the greater positioning of women in our society.

5.- SUSTAINABLE BLEND COFFEE

We gather coffee from the different producer associations and blend them in the process plant, resulting in a fusión of the different flavors and aromas which are produced by the different altitudes, microclimates, sun, soils and varieties of Arabica coffee.

6.- COFFEE GROWN UNDER COSMIC INFLUENCE

Produced by the Native Ashaninka Community of San Miguel, this coffee is grown under the guidance of the position of the new moon, crescent moon, full moon, and waning moon, with biodynamic fertilizer and pesticides produced under cosmic influence.

7.- Cherry Coffee

The harvest of mature coffee cherries, dried in the sun and then stored for seven months before final processing, resulting in a high quality coffee with a mild sweet taste.

8.- MISHA COFFEE, THE RAREST AND MOST EXPENSIVE DRINK IN THE WORLD

Processed naturally in the digestive tract of the animal scientifically called ‘nasua nasua’. Once the cherries are ingested and later defecated, the whole beans are washed and dried, obtaining as a result a cup of coffee with a chocolaty and fruity taste, characterized as one of the most delicious, finest, and most expensive coffee on the planet.

9.- Peaberry Coffee

A coffee that develops at the end of the branches, receiving the most sunlight and rain water, this coffee does not receive enough of an element called boron and does not mature normally. Instead, the beans cannot be separated and receive praise for their high acidity.

10.- RED BOURBON COFFEE

Characterized by its aroma, body, taste and strong acidity.

11.- TIPICA COFFEE

The oldest variety grown, because of the continued demand for its special characteristics in cup; intense aroma, body, and taste.

12.- COCA COFFEE

Grown in the deep jungle region known as VRAEM, an area battling drug trafficking and production, this coffee is grown as an alternative to the illicit production of coca leaf.
